What a difference a letter makes ....

What a morning, it’s 6:15 and I’m reading the first e-mail comments from Australia ( AUS is 3 hours ahead ). It is sooo good to receive those encouraging mails.

Margot from Sydney sent us her now company logo. I immediately forwarded the mail to our WEB Master.

me again ... another logo ... hope you have not fixed the other one .... it's got web site information on the letter head as well.
I think we just use Dj ... logo and not the rest ... getting too big !!!

The rest of our day was not half as funny, nevertheless we had a good day. Went to the "Which bank" again to take money out for the Hope school children. Sat with Pauline and discussed various options how to access our funds when we are in Danang.

After siesta we got a cab to the Peace Orphanage PO. First we met with Dr Nhi and then we saw Hoan and the kids.
We will sponsor ANH, the key board player to have piano lessons,to further his talent and for him to be able to play sheet music.
We also sponsor another boy, BANG, who only has one leg and hands and foot are not propperly developed. He will get art lessens - how to paint and draw.




We got good news - and bad news. A little girl KIM CHI, she is about 4 years old, is no longer at the PO. After nearly four years at the PO her mother came and explained that the family was now able to look after her, so they picked her up and took her home !!! Wonderful for little KIM CHI, but her mate THUY, same age is now sort of on her own. The two girls were always together, playing etc.

I had Thuy on my lap all afternoon, she is a nice little girl and enjoys to play with my watch.
