Back in Sai Gon ....

It's good to be back in Sai Gon again!!! We are here now, but it was not a good experience. This time we flew Jetstar from Hue to Saigon. The 737 was old, dirty and worn.
And here is a first … after all the years of travelling / flying … Uli checked the sick bag in the seat pocket in front of her … it had been used!!!
The landing in Sai Gon was a shocker too. It was stormy and it rained. We touched down way to soft, then the aircraft got hit by cross winds ... the wing nearly hit the tarmac ... then we were down on the ground.
Waited forever to get our luggage ...

The taxi sharks were waiting outside ... 300.000 VND ~ $19 to the city. No no monsieur ... we walked 250 meters and crossed the road to catch our favorite VINASUN taxi. Cost us 110.000 VND ~ $7.

Back to the hotel. Everything so familiar. Even the local hawkers and cyclo drivers said 'Hello' - back again !!!

Went to the local chemist to get some bottled water and a recharge on my Mobifone prepaid. I have to tell you a little story about the chemist. Some time ago we came back to the hotel, but Uli went across the road to see Truc at the tailor shop. I went back to the hotel, but not without getting 2 bottles of 'Travel water' from the chemist. It's hot here and we both drink a lot. Every second day we buy 2 big bottles of water at the chemist - best price!!!
When Uli came 15 minutes later she also went to the chemist and wanted to buy water. The lady told Uli that her husband had been and got the water already. Here in district 1 are a lot of tourists and backpackers, we must have left a lasting impression.

Back to work ... setting up meetings, getting back into it.
