Helter - Skelter ...

Thursday, 29th of July

Two years ago we helped Truc to pay for her little son Justin’s operation. Her was tongue-tied. Saw little Justin last year .... he has grown a lot. This year we met Truc again and every thing was sweet. The next day she approached us and talked about Justin’s problem with his water works … We agreed to help and met her again the next day at our hotel. Meanwhile Matt sent an e-mail to Craig, a GP in Noosa. Truc presented hospital invoices from a little boy she knows that had the same problem, cost about 7 mill. VND or $ 500. Matt made it clear that we cannot pay other peoples invoices. We arranged through our friend Hien for Truc to take Justin to see a doctor at the Children’s Hospital # 1 the next day!!!
To cut a long story short … Truc found all sorts of excuses not to take Justin. She rang Hien and tried to argue with her, wanted to go there without Justin. In the end she did not go at all. She rang us at 9:30 pm and Matt picked up the phone. He told her in no uncertain terms that she had her chance and that she blew it. End of story.

We are here to help; ready, willing and able … and Truc did not grab her chance. We feel sorry for Hien; she had to pull strings to make a hospital visit for little Justin possible at such short notice.
A lot of Vietnamese boys suffer the same problem, it’s easy to fix and does not cost an arm and a leg.

Make your own conclusions!!!!
